REGULAR MEETING - AUGUST 6, 1964

The meeting was called to order in the Courtroom at 7:52 p.m.
Assemblymen present: Alexander, Burnham, Pace and Wright.
Also present were Chairman Powell and Attorney Roy Madsen.
The minutes of the meeting of July 16, 1964, were read and unanimously approved by
a voice vote.
The minutes of the Planning Zoning Commission meeting of July 29, 1964, were con-
sidered but not approved. The subdivision of Lot 9, Block 1 Kodiak Townsite submitted
by J. Jensen is not in conformity to City Ordinance on Planning and Zoning.
Ordinance 64 -4 was read by title only. A general Discussion followed.
Assemblyman Pace, seconded by Assemblyman Alexander moved to adopt Ordinance 64 -4
as read. The question called for, the following roll call ballot was taken:
Yea
Alexander
Burnham
Pace
Wright
Nay
The motion was carried unanimously.
The second reading of Ordinance of 64 -5 was read in full.
Assemblyman Alexander made the motion to amend Section 6, Industrial, Par. 1 to read
, five feet from the front property line in lieu of thirty feet to center line of road.
Assemblyman Burnham seconded the motion and it was unanimously carried by a voice vote.
A/ Assemblyman Pace moved to reduce restriction on wrecking yard limit from 500 feet to
200 feet - Section 6, Industrial (1), Zones C -1. Assemblyman Alexander seconded the
motion. The question called for, a voice vote was taden and the motion was unanimously
carried.
Assemblyman Alexander, seconded by Assemblyman Pace made the motion to accept
Ordinance 64 -5 as revised in the second reading. The question called for, the following
roll call ballot was taken:

Alexander
Burnham
Pace
Wright
Nay
The motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business before the Assembly the meeting adjourned.
