AIDING THE INDIAN HEALTH SERVICE IN PROVIDING ADEQUATE SANITA ^ION
FACILITIES FOR RESIDENTS OF OLD HARBOR AND AUTHORIZING REPRESENTA-
TION IN MATTERS CONCERNING OLD HARBOR INDUSTRIAL WATER SUPPLY.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly, hereinafter
called the Assembly, is the governing body of Kodiak Island
Borough, Kodiak, Alaska; and
WHEREAS, said Assembly is desirous of aiding the Ind_an
Health Service, hereinafter called the Service, in providing
adequate sanitation facilities for the residents of Old Harbor;
and
WHEREAS, said Assembly has a duly authorized Borough
Manager to represent in it matters concerning Old Harbor Industrial
Water Supply.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that said Assembly hereby
authorizes the Presiding Officer to enter into agreements with
the Service on behalf of Kodiak Island Borough concerning the pro-
visions and transfer of sanitation facilities for Old Harbor; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Assembly will cooperate
with the provisions of the agreement entered into by the Asserr.bly's
Presiding Officer and the Service, and they will be duly carried
out.
