RESOLUTION NO. 77 -40 -R
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Sub - Chapter 1 of the Kodiak Isla
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides for the
assessment, levy and collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island
Borough and for equalization hearings after notice that the a.sess
ment roll has been completed, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodia
Island Borough Assembly that he has completed the 1977 Supple
mental Tax Roll and has advised that the assessment notices were
mailed on August 10, 1977; that a notice has been prepared an
publicized that the assessment roll has been completed and that
the date has been set for the Board of Equalization hearings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of
Equalization of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and
meet for the purpose of equalization hearings on Tuesday,
September 27, 1977, at 7:00 P.M., in the Assembly Chambers
of the Kodiak Island Borough Office Building, with Wednesday,
September 28, 1977, at 7:00 P.M., as an alternate date in the
event that more than one (1) day is needed to complete the
hearings of the Board of Equalization, and that the Assessor
will cause notice that the assessment rolls have been completed
and such notice shall be published in the KODIAK MIRROR, a news-
paper of general circulation published in the Kodiak Island
Borough on August 12, 1977, August 19, 1977 and September 2, 1677,
stating completion of the assessment rolls and stating when an
where the Equalization Hearing will be held.
