A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH APPROVING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN UNNAMED STREETS IN THE
VILLAGES OF OLD HARBOR, ALASKA AND AHKIOK, ALASKA (Kodiak A ea
Native Housing Authority on behalf of the Village Councils o
Old Harbor and Ahkiok, Alaska).
WHEREAS, Title 29.33.220 of the Alaska Statutes pr.vides
that no vacation of a street in the Borough area outside cites
may be made without the consent of the Borough Assembly, and
WHEREAS, the unnamed street being portions of Firs ■,
Second and Third Streets, Village of Old Harbor, Alaska, and
WHEREAS, the unnamed street being portions of Thir
"B" Street, all of "A ", and First Streets, Village of Ahkiok,
Alaska, and
WHEREAS, the street vacation has been presented for
approval by HORACE SIMMONS of KODIAK AREA NATIVE HOUSING AUTHORITY
on behalf of the VILLAGES OF OLD HARBOR, ALASKA AND AHKIOK, A ASKA
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission granted
approval of said street vacation June 29, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Isla d
Borough Assembly grant approval to the street vacation presen ed
by HORACE SIMMONS of KODIAK AREA NATIVE HOUSING AUTHORITY on
behalf of the VILLAGES OF OLD HARBOR, ALASKA AND AHKIOK, ALASKA.
