KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. 77 -20 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH SOLICITING
SUPPORT OF ALASKA CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE KODIAK
DOG BAY BOAT HARBOR PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Kodiak and the greater Kodiak
community desires to initiate certain port and marine improvements,
more specifically described as the Kodiak Dog Bay Boat Harbor Pro-
ject, as having great economic and convenience benefit to the
citizens of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly consistently
support those capital public improvements having community wide
significance of long term benefit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly does hereby request that the Alaska Congressional
Delegation be in the same are hereby advised of the interest and
support of the Kodiak Dog Bay Boat Harbor Project by the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly as part of the Omnibus Bill for 1977, and
that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the following:
