ZONING COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PORT LIONS INTERIM
UTILIZATION FOR THE PORT LIONS COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Port Lions, Alaska has prepared
comprehensive development plan to guide the future developmen
of the community for providing public services and facilities
including appropriate supportive ordinances, and,
WHEREAS, the Port Lions Comprehensive Development Pla
will assist the City of Port Lions in securing grants and loa s
for the planning, designing and construction of housing, sewe
water, street, and other community facilities, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Port Lions have expressed the de-ire
to maintain and update their Comprehensive Development Plan f
consistency with the new Comprehensive Regional Development P an
for Kodiak Island Borough now in preparation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island
Borough Planning and Zoning Commission does hereby grant the lity
of Port Lions Interim Utilization of the Port Lions Comprehen -ive
Development Plan as a guide to community development decision
making until the coordinated Regional Development Plan for th
island is complete.
