RESOLUTION NUMBER 75 -40 -R
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Sub - Chapter 1 of the Kodiak Island Borough
Code or Ordinances and Resolutions provides for the assessment, levy, and
collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough and for equalization hearings
after notice that the assessment roll has been completed, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that he has completed the 1975 tax roll - supplemental
and has mailed assessment notices and has published notice that the
assessment roll has been completed and that such notice stated when and
where the equalization will be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equalization
of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet for the purpose of
equalization hearings on Monday, November 3, 1975, at 7: 30 p.m. in the
meeting room of the Kodiak Island Borough Office Building, with Tuesday,
November 4, 1975 at 7: 30 p.m., as an alternate date in the event that more
than one (1) day is needed to complete the hearings of the Board of Equalization,
and that the Assessor has caused notice that the assessment rolls have been
completed and it was published in the Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the Kodiak Island Borough on October 6th, 13th, and
20th, 1975, stating that the assessment rolls have been completed and stating
when and where the equalization hearing will be held.
