1975-20 Approving The Final Plats Of Block 2, Tract "D", U.S. Survey 1672, And A Portion Of Tract "B", U.S. Survey 1672, Antone Larsen Island.A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6,
OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS,
APPROVING THE FINAL PLATS OF BLOCK 2, TRACT "D ", U. S. SURVEY
1672, AND A PORTION OF TRACT "B", U. S. SURVEY 1672, ANTONE
LARSEN ISLAND.
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the Kodiak Island
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides that a final plat
shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by Resolution, which Resolution
shall provide for the acceptance of all street, alleys, and easements,
and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes and that OKEY
CHANDLER has presented for approval his final plats of Block 2, Tract "D ",
and a Portion of Tract "B", U. S. Survey 1672, Antone Larsen Island, and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Kodiak Island
Borough approved said final plats even though it did not meet with Section
16.010, because the area is surrounded by unusual conditions and could not
apply to that section. Said plats were approved on the 21st day of May, 1975,
and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly grant approval to these final plats presented by Okey Chandler,
prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, Registered land Surveyor ( May 20, 1975)
and that all streets, alleys, easements, and other open spaces shown on
said plats be and the same are hereby dedicated to public purposes and the
same are hereby accepted.
