RESOLUTION NUMBER 75 -15 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES FROM HUD DISCRETIONARY FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has applied for Discretionary
Funds under the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974 for the
establishment of Sanitary Land Fills in each of the outlying Villages, and
WHEREAS, HUD has indicated that a full application will be necessary,
and said application will entail certain expenditures for public hearings,
travel to the five villages, and
WHEREAS, such expenditures are necessary for the completion of
the application and to insure that the required public input has been received
for the projects,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Assembly of the Kodiak
Island Borough, that authorization is hereby given to expend money for
advertisement of the public hearings, transportation to the locations of the
public hearings and any additional costs connected with the preparation
of the full application and that this money should be expended from the
discretionary funds as allocated to the Borough.
