1975-03 Approving The Final Plat Of The Subdivision of Lot 2, Woodland Acres Subdivision, Kodiak Alaska, Into Lots 2A, 2B, And 2C, Woodland Acres SubdivisionA RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6, OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE SUBDIVISION OF LOT 2, WOODLAND ACRES SUBDIVISION, KODIAK, ALASKA, INTO LOTS 2A, 2B and 2C, WOODLAND ACRES SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the Kodiak Island Borough Codef of Ordinances and Resolutions provides that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for the acceptance of all streets, alleys, and easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes, and that JOHN NOSICH has presented for approval his final plat of Lots 2A, 2B and 2C, Woodland Acres Subdivision, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the KOdiak Island Borough approved said final plat on the 18th of December, 1974, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly grant approval to the final plat presented by Mr. JOhn Nosich, preapred by Mr. R. A. Ecklund, Registered Land Surveyor, (October I, 1974) and that all streets, alleys, easements, and other open spaces shown on said plat be and the same are hereby dedicated to public purposes and the same are hereby accepted. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 6th DAY OF February, 1975. KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ATTEST: Borough Clerk KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 75 -3 -R ‘6Y0 LcJ0'4 Borough Mayor Presiding Officer KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NUMBER 75 -4 -R A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE BOROUGH'S NEEDS AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE. Whereas the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of Tract "A" U. S. Survey 3465, and WHEREAS, it was necessary to replat a portion of this tract for the purposes of road right -of -ways, and WHEREAS, Mr. Duane Freeman is the owner of Lot I2A, U. S. Survey 3219, which lot is under the size requirements, and WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly agreed to sell twenty feet to Mr. Freeman in September of 1972, and since that time the new replat has been accomplished, and WHEREAS, in order to establish a lot which meets the lot requirements the Borough has had same appraised, the same being valued at $2,045.80 and this sum having been offered as a reasonable purchase price of the aforementioned portion of Tract A, USS 3465, said property having been rezoned to Unclassified Residential and being surplus to the Borough's needs and land from which the Borough is not deriving any revenue, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following- described parcel of land situated in the Kodiak Recording Precinct, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska, to -wit: Be and the same is hereby declared surplus to the Borough's needs and not needed for or devoted to any public use, the Borough Mayor is hereby authorized to sell the same to DUANE H. FREEMAN for the appraised cost, plus the cost of appraisal and to execute a Deed pursuant to this Resolution. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 16th DAY OF JANUARY 1975.
