RESOLUTION NUMBER 74 -54 -}
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Sub - Chapter 1 of the Kodiak Island Borough
Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides for the assessment, levy,
and collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough and for equalization
hearings after notice that the assessment roll ha$ been completed and,
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that he has completed the 1974 tax roll - supplemental
and has mailed assessment notices and has published notice that the
assessment roll has been completed and that such notice stated when and
where the equalization will be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equalization
of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and

meet for the purpose of
equalization hearings on Thursday December 5a 1974, at 7:30 p.m. in the
meeting room of the Kodiak Island Borough Officie Building, with Friday,
December 6 , 1974 at 7:30 p.m. as an alternate date in the event that more than
one (1) day is needed to complete the hearings of the Board of Equalization,
and that the Assessor has caused notice that the assessments rolls have been
completed and it was published in the Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the Kodiak Island Borough on November 8th, 15th,
and 22nd, stating that the assessment rolls have been completed and stating
when and where the equalization hearing will be held.
