1974-41 Reserving Certain Lands For Future Development.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESERVING
CERTAIN LANDS FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly has determ-
ined that certain land reservations are necessary for the continu-
ed growth and development of the community, and
WHEREAS, it would appear that there will be an increase
in population in the Borough in the next few years, which will re-
quire land for expansion and development,
WHEREAS, the Borough currently has land under its
ownership within the Bells Flats, Russijan Creek area,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Tracts A, B, G, H, I,
and J of the Russian Creek Alaska Subdivision be reserved by and
for the future development of the Kodiak Island Borough and that
no plans for development of this area shall be approved prior to
submittal to the Planning Commission and Borough Assembly.
