RESOLUTION NUMBER 74 -34 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4,
SECTION 6, OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES
AND RESOLUTIONS APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE VACATION
OF EASEMENT ON LOT 28, U. S. SURVEY 3099.
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the Kodiak
Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides that
a final plat shall be approved by the Borough Assembly by Resolution,
which Resolution shall provide for the acceptance of all streets, alleys,
and easements and other open spaces dedicated to public purposes, and
that QUALITY PLUMBING & HEATING CO., has presented for approval
their final plat of Lot 28, U. S. Survey 3099 and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Kodiak Island
Borough approved said final plat on the 16th day of Februrary, 1972.
Recording of the plat was held in abeyance until possible litigation had
been resolved. As of this date, no further litigation is anitcipated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly grant approval to the final plat presented by Quality Plumbing
and Heating Company, prepared by R. A. Ecklund, Registered Land
Surveyor ( November 8, 1974) , and that all streest, alleys, easements, and
other open spaces shown on said plat be and the same are hereby dedicated
to public purposes and the same are hereby accepted.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 1st day of August, 1974.
