A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK ISLAND
BOROUGH WAIVING TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1972 FOR NICK WOLKOFF, A
SENIOR CITIZEN
WHEREAS, Nick Wolkoff, is a Senior Citizen of the Kodiak Island
Borough, and as such received a Senior Citizen's Tax Exemption in 1970
and 1971 under the Borough's Tax Exemption Ordinance ,
WHEREAS, through error Mr. Wolkoff failed to file application for
the 1972 Tax Exemption, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Wolkoff is eighty years old and is not currently
working and it is not the intent of the Borough that our older citizens
should be deprived of their homes,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the taxes for 1972 in the
amount of ONE HUNDRED FORTY -TWO DOLLARS AND 90 /I00ths ($142.92)
be waived and that this account show a zero balance due.
