SETTING THE DATES FOR THE 1974 BOARD OF EQUALIZATION HEARINGS.
WHEREAS, Chapter 3, Subchapter 1 of the Kodiak Isla
Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides for the assess
ment, levy and collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough
and for equalization hearings after notice that the assessment
roll has been completed and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Kodiak Island Borough Prop-
erty Assessment and Management Department has notified the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly that they have completed the 1974 Tax Roll
and has mailed assessment notices and has published notice th.t
the assessment roll has been completed and that such notice s ated
when and where the equalization hearings will be heard,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Eq al-
ization of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet or
the purpose of equalization hearings on Tuesday, May 14, 1974, at
7:30 P.M. in the Assembly Room at the Kodiak Island Borough
offices at 700 Upper Mill Bay Road, Kodiak, Alaska, with Wedn_s
day, May 15, 1974, at 7:30 P.M. as an alternate date in the e ent
that more than one (1) day is needed to complete the hearings of
the Board of Equalization, and that the Assessor has caused notice
that the assessment rolls have been completed and it was publ'sh-
ed in the Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general circulation p b-
lished in the Kodiak Island Borough on April 4th, 1974, and notice
shall be published again on April llth and 18th, 1974, statin
that the assessment rolls have been completed and stating whe and
where the Equalization Hearings will be held.
