RESOLUTION NUMBER 74 -8 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE
BOROUGH'S NEEDS AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is the owner of Lot. 7
of Block 4 , MONASHKA BAY ALASKA SUBDIVISION by State of Alaska
Patent No. 749 dated April 16, 1968, and from which land it does
not derive any revenue whatsoever, and
WHEREAS the Borough has received a request from ROBERT
J. NORDGULEN for purchase of a Twenty five foot strip of said
Lot 7 in order to subdivide the adjacent lot No. 8 into two parcel
that will comply with the Borough's Planning and Zoning Regulation
in regard to lot size and road frontage, and accordingly, the
Borough has had the same appraised, the same being valued at SIX
HUNDRED EIGHTY and No /100ths ($680.00) DOLLARS, and this sum
having been offered as the reasonable purchase price of said land
by the above mentioned individual, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that the following described tract of land sit-
uated in the Kodiak Recording Precinct, Third Judicial District,
State of Alaska, to -wit:
A 25 ft. strip of land within Lot 7, Block 4, MONASHKA
BAY ALASKA Subdivision adjacent to, and parallel with, that prop-
erty line common to lots 7 and 8 of Block 4 of said subdivision
Be and the same is hereby declared surplus to the needs of the
Borough and is not needed for or devoted to any public use, the
Borough Chairman is hereby authorized to sell the same to ROBERT
J. NORDGULEN for the appraised cost, and to execute a Deed pur
suant to this Resolution.
