RESOLUTION NUMBER 74 -6 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH ASSEMBLY OF THE KODIAK
ISLAND BOROUGH PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 5, SUBCHAPTER 4, SECTION 6,
OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH CODE OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF THE SUBDIVISION OF LOT 25 AND 26,
U. S. SURVEY 3098, WHICH CREATES LOTS 25A, 25B, 25C, 25D, 25E,
AND LOTS 26A, 26B, 26C, AND 26D, U. S. SURVEY 3098.
WHEREAS, Chapter 5, Subchapter 4, Section 6 of the
Kodiak Island Borough Code of Ordinances and Resolutions
provides that a final plat shall be approved by the Borough
Assembly by Resolution, which Resolution shall provide for
the acceptance of all streets, alleys, and easements and
other open spaces dedicated to public purposes, and that
RICHARD SIMS (Lot 25) and MIKE SHOCKLEY and JOHN EUFE4IO
(Lot 26) have presented for approval the final plat of Lots 25A,
25B, 25C, 25D, and 25E, and Lots 26A, 26B, 26C, and 26D,
U.S. Survey 3098, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
Kodiak Island Borough approved said final plat on the 23rd day
of January, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the developer, Mr. Richard Sims has agreed
that no building permits will be issued on Lots 25A, 25B, 25C,
25D and 25E, until such time as City water and sewer is made
available to the lots, and the recording of the plat shall be
authorized at such time as water and sewer facilities have been
installed and are available to both subdivisions,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Islands
Borough Assembly approve the subdivision of Lots 25 and 26,
U. S. Survey 3098 into Lots 25A, 25B, 25C, 25D, and 25E, and
Lots 26A, 26B, 26C, and 26D, U. S. Survey 3098 pursuant to the
Subdivision Plat prepared by Roy A. Ecklund, dated December 22, 197
and that all streets, alleys, easements, and other open spaces
shown on said plat be and the same are hereby dedicated to public
purposes and the same are hereby accepted.
