1992-44 Ratifying and Confirming the Results of the Municipal Election Held October 6, 1992.KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 92 -44 Introduced by: Requested by: Drafted by: Introduced: Adopted: A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE RESULTS OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD OCTOBER 6, 1992 WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough held a Regular Election on October 6, 1992, at which time candidates for the following offices to be filled were voted on: Borough Mayor - One (1) three -year term Borough Assembly - Two (2) three -year terms School Board - One (1) three -year term School Board - One (1) one -year term Bayview Road Service Area - Two (2) three -year terms Monashka Bay Road Service Area - Two (2) three -year terms Service District No. 1 - Two (2) three -year terms Womens Bay Service Area - Two (2) three -year terms Womens Bay Service Area - One (1) two -year term Fire District No. 1 - One (1) three -year term WHEREAS, the Canvassing Board of the Kodiak Island Borough met on October 8, 9, 12, and 13, 1992, and tallied the votes of Questioned Ballots and Absentee Ballots together with votes counted on election night; and WHEREAS, the Recount Board of the Kodiak Island Borough met on October 13, 1992, and recounted the votes of all precincts, questioned and absentee ballots cast for Assembly candidates Alan Austerman, John "Little John" Burt, and Mary Monroe; and WHEREAS, the tallies as recorded by the Canvass Board and Recount Board are as follows: KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH MAYOR - One (1) three -year term MILLS, E.H. Section 2: In the Borough -wide election for Mayor, Jerome M. Selby was elected to a three -year term, having received the highest vote tally. Section 3: In the Borough -wide election for Assembly, Alan Austerman and Mary Monroe were elected to three -year terms, having received the highest vote tallies. Section 4: In the Borough -wide election for School Board, Will Walton was elected to a three -year term, having received the highest vote tally. Section 5: In the Borough -wide election for School Board, Mary Laferriere was elected to a one -year term, having received the highest vote tally. Section 6: In the Bayview Road Service Area, Dawn Lee Black and Colleen Helligoso were elected to three -year terms, having received the highest vote tallies. Section 7: In the Monashka Bay Road Service Area, Mitch Hull and Mark Withrow were elected to three -year terms, having received the highest vote tallies. Kodiak Island Borough. Section 9: In the Womens Bay Service Area, Laurie Madsen and David G. Conrad were elected to three -year terms, having received the highest vote tallies. Section 10: In the Womens Bay Service Area, Jean D. Barber was elected to a two - year term, having received the highest vote tally. Section 11: In Fire District No. 1, Greg Spalinger was elected to a three -year term, having received the highest vote tally.
