SERVICE DISTRICT EQUIPMENT OUTSIDE OF A SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough

WHEREAS, the residents of thesed' tricts impose taxes on
all real and personal property within th district to pay for the
operating and administrative costs for he specified service; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak/ Island Borough provides
administration of these districts at no cost to the district; and
WHEREAS, each serv'ce district has obtained various
equipment which was purcha ed with funding from the State of
Alaska, Borough wide funds and service district funds; and
WHEREAS,/in

WHERE S, the Kodiak Island Borough occasionally needs the
use of this a ipment at locations outside of the specific service
district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island

A. All operating costs such as wages and use of expendable
ies shall be reimbursed at full cost of the service district.

B. All equipment use will be reimbursed at the rate of 50
of the usual and customary rates for out of district service s
established by the service district for the first $20,000 of uch
charges for each fiscal year and at the rate of 100% o such
charges in excess of $20,000 in each fiscal year.
