1990-34 Authorizing Staff to Effect Certain Department Level Changes for the Mental Health Department in the FY 1990 Budget.By: Mayor Selby Introduced: 07/05/90 Adopted: 07/05/90 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 90-34 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO EFFECT CERTAIN DEPARTMENT LEVEL CHANGES FOR THE MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT IN THE FY 1990 BUDGET WHEREAS, the assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough has approved appropriation Ordinance No. 89-13-0 for fiscal year 1990; and WHEREAS, the actual grant awards to the Mental Health Center were $337,550 less than the estimated amounts in appropriation Ordinance No. 89-13-0; and WHEREAS, the Mental Health Advisory Board has conducted a mid -year budget review and recommended a decrease of $221,480 in both the revenues and expenditures of the Mental Health Center; and WHEREAS, a review by staff has indicated that appropriation Ordinance No. 89-13-0 should be changed to properly monitor, account, and report on the revenues and expenditures of the Mental Health Department of the Kodiak Island Borough; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff is hereby authorized and directed to effect the following project level changes in the 1990 budget: Current Revised Appropriation Amendment Budget Mental Health Center Revenues 1,917,060 (221,480) 1,695,580 Expenditures Dept 165 201,510 6,140 207,650 Dept 166 84,070 11,300 95,370 Dept 167 881,470 (119,930) 761,540 Dept 168 147,820 (10,420) 137,400 Dept 170 36,220 (6,710) 29,510 Dept 173 320,560 (73,250) 247,310 Dept 174 141,550 (15,780) 125,770 Dept 175 103,860 (27,830) 76,030 Dept 176 0 15,000 15,000 Resolution No. 90-34 Page 1 of 2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is hereby authorized and directed to effect the necessary line item changes within the limits established above by fund, project, and department to properly monitor, account, and report on the receipt and expenditures of these funds.
