A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
ESTABLISHING A'JOINT CITY /BOROUGH FISCAL YEAR OF 1990
CAPITAL PROJECT PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the City of Kodiak's capital
improvement priorities by Resolution No. 29 -88 on August 25, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly adopted the Kodiak Island Borough's
capital improvement priorities by Resolution Number 88 -67 -R on October 6,
1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
held a joint work session on September 13, 1988, to discuss capital improve-
ment priorities and develop a merged list to present to the Sixteenth Alaska
Legislature for funding consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly in conjunction with the Council of the City of Kodiak, Alaska the
following priorities are hereby adopted for fiscal year 1990 capital improve-
ment projects:
1. Near Island Development
a. St. Herman Bay Permanent Breakwater
b. Fishery Industrial Technology Center
2. Hospital Construction
3. Mill Bay Road Reconstruction
4. Water System Filtration Plant ASE
5. Airport Sewage Treatment Plant
6. St. Paul Harbor Reconstruction
7. Selief Lane Construction
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of October, 1988.
