A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY REQUESTING THE
UTILIZATION AND ALLOCATION OF LOCAL SERVICE ROADS AND TRAILS FUNDS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE EAST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PEDESTRIAN PATH.
WHEREAS, the State Department of Transportation and Public
Facilities currently is holding an unallocated balance of Local Service
Roads and Trails funds for the Kodiak Island Borough in the amount of
$35,899.001 and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough School District has requested
that Local Service Roads and Trails funds be used to construct the East
Elementary School Pedestrian Path; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to AS Ch. 84, Sections 19.30.111 through
19.30.241, the State of Alaska has a fund for construction of local
service roads and trails:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly authorizes and allocates $35,899.00 for use in constructing the
East Elementary School Pedestrian Path.
