RESOLUTION NO. 88 -41 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
APPROVING ENROLLMENT IN A GROUP LIFE INSURANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska Group Health Care and Life Insurance
Plan for employees of the State of Alaska Political Subdivision provides
only $2,000 of life insurance; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough School District employees
have been enrolled in a group life insurance program which provides
$75,000 of life insurance for each employee for several years;
WHEREAS, the cost of increasing the coverage for all employees of
the Kodiak Island Borough is $447 per month; and
WHEREAS, the funds to pay the premium for this program are
included in the FY 1989 budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that the Mayor is authorized to enroll the Kodiak Island
Borough employees in the Mutual Benefit Life Group Life Insurance
Program effective July 1, 1988.
