A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING
PARTICIPATION IN THE RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE
GRANT (REDI) PROGRAM FOR THE EXPANSION OF BAYSIDE FIRE HALL
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough wishes to provide for
expansion of the Bayside Fire Hall; and
WHEREAS, the Borough is an applicant for a community
development grant in the amount of $100,000 from the Alaska
Department of Community and Regional Affairs,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the
Kodiak Island Borough is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute
any and all documents required for granting and managing funds on
behalf of the Borough.
The Mayor is also authorized to execute any subsequent
amendments to said grant agreement to provide for adjustments to the
project within the scope of services or tasks, based upon the needs of
the project.
