1988-22 Authorizing the Receipt and Expenditure of Municipal Grants from the State of Alaska.A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE
RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF MUNICIPAL GRANTS FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak island Borough has been appropriated funds by the
State of Alaska 1988 Legislature as governed by A.S. 37.05.315 and from the
Department of Community and Regional Affairs; and
WHEREAS, the Borough is willing to undertake the performance of the
projects authorized by the State; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has the authority under state law or local
ordinances to provide the services for which funds were appropriated: and
WHEREAS, the State has the authority to enter into three agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough is
hereby authorized to receive and expend grants from the State of Alaska in the
amount of 8355,700 for the following three proiec ts:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that the
Borough Mayor or his designee is hereby authorized to prepare and submit the
grant agreements for the above - mentioned projects.
