WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough, by passa a�of Ordinance No.

, WHEREAS, contract for services byteen the Kodiak Island Borough
! and Kodiak Sanitation, Inc. was initiated for collection services
! 1 : WHEREAS, Kodiak Sanitation has 1 icated they are willing to
! provide a lower rate structure if theeopt* nal two-year extension of their
contract is activated now; and

WHEREAS, several monthef operation have indicated that the
current fee schedule does not aver to adequate revenue to cover the
expenses of operations; and t a—
WHEREAS, it has been intent of the assembly for this program
to operate as an enterprise f» which pays its own way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE / RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that a new fee s le for garbage collection and disposal is
adopted effective Januiry 1988.
