RESOLUTION NO. 86 -84 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ACCEPTING MONIES FROM
THE KODIAK ISLAND HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR THE AKHIOK PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Housing Authority is building six new
housing units in Akhiok, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has contracted with Frontier
Construction Company on the Akhiok Dam project to mine and place rock fill.
and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Housing Authority requires fill material for
building pads, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Housing Authority has agreed to pay the cost
of generating and placing these pads as well as associated work, and
WHEREAS, the cost of the identified work to be completed is
approximately $141,425
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that an amount of money, as outlined above, equaling that spent on
behalf of the Kodiak Island Housing Authority, be accepted from Kodiak
Island Housing Authority, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, these funds are authorized to be
spent to defray the costs incurred on the Akhiok project giving a final
total project distribution as follows:
