RESOLUTION NO. 66-79 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE
RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF A MUNICIPAL GRANT APPROPRIATED BY THE LEGISLATURE,
A.S. 37.06.316.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough (hereinafter called the Grantee)
has been appropriated funds by the State of Alaska (hereinafter called the
State) 1966 Legislature as governed by A.S. 37.05.315, and
WHEREAS, the Grantee is willing to undertake the performance of the
project authorized by the State, and
WHEREAS, the Grantee has the authority under state law or local
charter to provide the services for which funds were appropriated, and
WHEREAS, the State has the authority to enter into an agreement by
A.S. 37.95.315.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough is
hereby authorized to receive and expend municipal grant 67/67 -435 from the
State of Alaska in the amount of $24,567 for the purpose of operations and
facility upgrade for the Kodiak State Fair and Rodeo Grounds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that
the Borough Mayor or his designee is hereby authorized to prepare and submit
the grant agreement for the above - mentioned project.
