AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 15 WITH URS COMPANYI
FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN
SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 1.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough by Resolution No. 82 -13 -R approved a
contract with URS Company for design of water and sewer improvements in Service
District No. 1; and
WHEREAS, the sixth project is scheduled for award on October 2, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough desires to have URS Company continue
with project administration through the construction phase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that Amendment No. 15 for provision of construction services by URS Company is
approved with costs and fixed fee not to exceed the following:

Cost $345,283
Fixed Fee 42,725
Total $388,008
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above expenditures are hereby authorized
from funds received for the Island Lake Water and Sewer Project and that the Borough
Mayor is hereby authorized and instructed to execute the appropriate documents.
