RESOLUTION NO. 86 -40 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY REQUESTING
THE UTILIZATION AND ALLOCATION OF LOCAL SERVICE ROADS AND TRAILS
FUNDS FOR PAVING OF SOUTH RUSSIAN CREEK ROAD AND SARGENT CREEK
ROAD.
WHEREAS, the State Department of Transportation and Public Facilities
currently is holding an unallocated balance of Local Service Roads and Trails funds for
the Kodiak Island Borough in the amount of $227,500.30, and
WHEREAS, the Womens Bay Service Area Advisory Board has requested that
Local Service Roads and Trails funds be used to pave South Russian Creek Road and
Sargent Creek Road at a cost of $568,000, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to AS Ch. 84, Sections 19.30.111 through 19.30.241, the
State of Alaska has a fund for construction of local service roads and trails.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
authorizes and allocates $227,500.30 for use in paving South Russian Creek Road and
Sargent Creek Road.
