A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY URGING THE CITY
OF KODIAK TO MAKE A SUITABLE LAND PARCEL AVAILABLE ON NEAR ISLAND FOR DEVELOP -
MENT OF A MUSEUM BY THE KODIAK AREA NATIVE ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Area Native Association is seeking funding for
".development of a historical museum, and
WHEREAS, the museum would be a positive tourist attraction for
Kodiak Island, and

it WHEREAS, a suitable piece of land could be made available
I conditioned upon KANA obtaining the funding to build the museum.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
I
Assembly that the City of Kodiak is urged to make a suitable land parcel
available for development of a museum by the Kodiak Area Native Association.
