EXECUTION OF MODIFICATION NO. Z TO T B NO 1A O ASSEMBLY TRACT WITH COMPANY. NO. 1 TO THE CONTRACT NITH URS
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough by Resolution No. 82 -13 -R
approved a contract with URS Company for design of water and sewer
improvements in SD41, and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 to the contract with URS Company
was
approved on June 3, 1982 for design of utility improvements in the Beaver Lake
area (Lakeside Subdivision); and
WHEREAS, Modification No.1 to Amendment No. 1 was approved on
January 5, 1984 to better define the extent of design services only, due to
lack of construction funding; and
NOW THEREFORE
that Modification No. 2
services by URS Company
the following:

WHEREAS, delays and design changes necessitated by factors beyond
the control of URS Company have increased costs beyond the original budget;
and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to include in the scope of work the
production of construction contract documents for bidding, and bid period
assistance by the consultant.
, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
to Amendment No.1 for additional design and bidding
is approved with costs and fixed fees not to exceed

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the above expenditures are hereby
authorized from funds received for the Municipal Land Disposal Grant Project
and the Selief Lane Extension, and that the Borough Mayor is hereby authorized
and instructed to execute the appropriate documents.
