RESOLUTION NO. 83 -92 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY TO EFFECT CERTAIN
BUDGET CHANGES IN THE BONDED CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND.
WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to Brechan Enterprises in the amount
of $288,480 for playgrounds at East and Peterson Schools, and
WHEREAS, a portion of this contract included paving play areas, and
WHEREAS, additional material had to be excavated and rock backfill
provided ($2,850.00), and
WHEREAS, additional trees and also had to be removed to provide
a safe slope on the embankment ($5,970.00), and
account.
ATTEST:
WHEREAS, an additional $7,700.00 is required to complete the installaa
tion of the playground equipment at Peterson, and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Borough contingency
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that staff is hereby authorized and
directed to effect the following project level changes:

Bonded Budget Amendment Budget
East & Peterson Plygrnds. $ 310,000 $ 7,700 $ 317,700
Undesignated Fund Balance $ (7,700)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is authorized and directed to
effect the necessary line item changes within the limits established above
by project to properly monitor and account for the expenditures of these
funds.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of August , 1983 by
the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly.
