WHEREAS, the Borough is eligible to apply for funding for
projects which benefit the community as a whole and desire to obtain
funding for such projects.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly that it authorizes the manager to submit an application to the
State of Alaska for Community Development Block Grant funds for the
Akhoik Dock Road and Fuel Delivery System project.
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING
THE SUBMISSION OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION TO THE
STATE OF ALASKA.
WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant program previously
administered by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has
been transferred to the State of Alaska; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Community and Regional Affairs has
prepared application procedures and instructions for the State administered
program; and
