RESOLUTION NO. 83 -57 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING THE
ECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF MUNICIPAL GRANTS APPROPRIATED BY THE 1982 LEGISLATURE
5 37.05.315.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough (hereinafter called the Grantee)
as been appropriated funds by the State of Alaska (hereinafter called the
M ate) by the 1982 Legislature as governed by AS 37.05.315, and
WHEREAS, the Grantee is willing to undertake the performance of the
arious projects authorized by the State, and
WHEREAS, the Grantee has the authority under State Law or local
harter to provide the services for which funds were appropriated, and
WHEREAS, the State has the authority to enter into an agreement by
S 37.05.315.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough is
ereby authorized to receive and expend municipal grants fran the State of
laska in the amount of $3,348,500 for the following five (5) projects:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that
he Borough Manager, Phil C. Shealy, is hereby authorized to prepare and
ubmit grant agreements for the above five indicated projects.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of May , 1983 by
he Borough Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough.
