RESOLUTION NO. 83 -15 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AWARDING THE CHINIAK
SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the Department of Education has provided the Kodiak Island
Borough $2,000,000 of State funds for the construction of an elementary school
at Chiniak, and
WHEREAS, bid documents were properly prepared and advertised according
to code, and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder has been determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the contract for the construction of the Chiniak School (KIB Project
No. 211) be awarded to Hollander Construction Company (name) of
Ferndale, Washington (location) for:
Basic item $1,590,000
Unit price Cost Per Cu. Yd.
Soil Excavation and Disposal 510
90% Compacted Classified Fill $18
90% Compacted Unclassified Fill $ 8
Alternates $ 10,000
