A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ADOPTING A
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 1983 -84 THROUGH 1987 -88 AND
ESTABLISHING CAPITAL PROJECT PRIORITIES.
WHEREAS, a five year Capital Improvements Program has been prepared
by the Borough for fiscal years 1983 -84 through 1987 -88; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Planning and Zoning Commission held a public
hearing, reviewed and recommended approval of the Capital Improvements Program
at its December 29, 1982 meeting, in accordance with Borough Code Section
2.24.030 (E); and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly held a hearing on the Capital
Improvements Program at its January 6, 1983 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the document entitled, "Kodiak
Island Borough Capital Improvements Program for the years from July 1, 1983
through June 30, 1988" is hereby adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Borough's Capital Project priorities
are as follows:
1. Near Island Bridge Supplement S 13,000,000
2. Island Lake Water and Sewer 4,776,000
3. Sanitary Landfill 3,600,000
4. Junior High Remodel 7,300,000
5. Selief Lane Extension 2,016,000
6. Hospital Equipment 445,000
7. Mill Bay Improvements 5,350,000
8. Sawmill /Lakeview Completion 122,000
9. Lilly Drive Completion 1,350,000
10. Auditorium /Main Remodel 10,760,000
11. Treatment Plant Modifications 450,000
12. Pedestrian Trails 500,000
