KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH
RESOLUTION NO. 83 -2 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSENBLY TO EFFECT CERTAIN
UDGET CHANGES IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS BY USING RESIDUAL FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough has appropriated
certain fixes sums of money and executed agreements with the State of Alaska to
complete specific capital projects, and
WHEREAS, certain projects have been completed and others are nearing
(completion with some amounts of unexpended funds and certain other projects are
in their initial stages without funding or with insufficient funding, and
WHEREAS, those residual unexpended funds of completed projects, over
a period of many years, have lost their identity as to specific source of such
monies, and
WHEREAS, such funds have been identified accumulatively over the
years by the external auditors as:

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Kodiak Island Borough and staff to
further designate the use of these residual funds that have been previously
appropriated for a specific project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that staff is hereby authorized and
directed to effect the following project level changes:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff is authorized and directed to
effect the necessary line item changes within the limits established above by
project to properly monitor, account and report for the expenditures of these
funds.
All resolutions or parts of resolutions found to be in conflict with
this resolution are hereby explicitly rescinded.
