RESOLUTION NUMBER 82 -82 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY RATIFYING AND
CONFIRMING THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 2, 1982 RUN -OFF ELECTION.
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Kodiak Island Borough held a Regular
Municipal Election in the Borough on Tuesday, October 5, 1982, at which time
only one of the candidates for the two positions of School Board Member for
two (2) three -year terms received in excess of forty percent (40 %) of the
votes cast for those offices; therefore the Borough held a Run -Off Election
for the other School Board position of three -years on Tuesday, November 2,
1982. A Notice of the Run -Off Election being published at least five days
before that date, and
WHEREAS, the returns of said election have been delivered to and
by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Kodiak Island Borough

as follows:
That DAVID C. CROWE, SR. received 1292 votes for
of School Board Member and that DAVID W. THOMPSON received the p vo t e son
1572 votes
for that position. Therefore, it is hereby declared that DAVID W. THOMPSON
Has been elected for the three -year term of School Board Member.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly this
18th day of November, 1982.
