RESOLUTION NO. 82 -79 -R
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE ALASKA DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AND REGIONAL AFFAIRS (STATE) FOR THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE
(RDA) GRANT PROGRAM AND ESTABLISHING A GRANT ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE TO CARRY
OUT THE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Assembly of the Kodiak Island Borough wishes to
apply for and receive funds for an RDA Grant project described as fire fighting
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the State will require the Assembly of the Kodiak Island
Borough to enter into an agreement with the State of Alaska;
it
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Assembly of the Kodiak
Island Borough will enter into an agreement with the State of Alaska, if a
grant is awarded; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the following members of the Advisory
Board of the Bells Flats /Russian Creek Service Area are hereby appointed as
members of the Grant Management Committee and are hereby authorized to carry
out the terms of the agreement on the community's behalf:
