RESOLUTION N0. 82 -71 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH DESIGNATING THE BOROUGH
TREASURER OR HIS SUCCESSOR TO PROCEED UNDER AS 29.53.230 TO ENFORCE THE LIEN OF
TAXES AGAINST REAL PROPERTY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
Section 1. The Borough Treasurer, or his successor as designated,
pursuant to AS 29.53.230 shall prepare a roll in duplicate of all real property
subject to foreclosure for delinquent 1982 taxes.
Section 2. The roll or all real property subject to foreclosure for I
delinquent taxes shall list the name of each person appearing in the latest Taxi
Roll as the owner of tax delinquent property, a description of each property as
it appears on the latest Tax Roll, the year or years for which taxes are
delinquent, the amount of delinquent taxes for each year and penalty and
interest on that amount. The Treasurer shall endorse on the Roll, a
certificate under his hand to be attested by the Borough Clerk with the
corporate seal, that it is a true and correct Roll of the delinquent taxes for
the Borough for the years shown. The Roll shall be known as a Foreclosure List
of the Borough for the tax year of 1982 and the original of it shall be filed
with the Borough Clerk and remain open to inspection by the public.
Section 3. The Roll of all real property subject to foreclosure for
delinquent taxes shall be prepared on or before December 31, 1982 and the
Treasurer is hereby instructed to proceed under Alaska Statute to enforce the
lien of taxes against real property identified on the Foreclosure List.
