WHEREAS, it has cane to the attention of the Borough Assembly that

residing of the Assembly Chambers in order to prevent water penetration is
'critical.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
intends to amend Resolution No. 81 -48 -R by decreasing the amount of funds avail -
'able for paving and site improvements around the Borough building from
.$870,000.00 to $770,000.00 and create a new activity of residing the Kodiak
;Island Borough Assembly Chambers at an estimated cost not to exceed $100,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that the
:Borough Manager is hereby authorized to prepare and submit an amended application

A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AMENDING THE
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF ENTITLEMENT FUNDS UNDER
MUNICIPAL AID PROGRAM, CHAPTER 60, SLA 81 AND AS 37.05.315
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has been appropriated funds for
Jan entitlement per person residing within the Borough boundaries, and
j WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough did adopted Resolution No. 81 -48 -R
��'designating certain activities and budgets for these funds, and
WHEREAS, one of the approved activities included paving roads, parking
lots and site improvements around Borough buildings at a cost of $870,000, and
WHEREAS, a contract has been entered into for paving roads and site
improvements around the Borough building resulting in excess budgeted funds,
and
