(RCM THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY IN THE AMOUNT
MEASURES IN THE HIGH SCHOOL.

WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island
Borough has been offered funds by the
Department of Energy as authorized under the Institutional Conservation
Program (Public Law 95 -619), and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough is willing to undertake the
modification of the High School locker roans and boilers in order to reduce the
consumption of fossil fuel energy, and
WHEREAS, the grant offer requires a match from local funds of $83,200,
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough, as a condition of the grant approval,
agrees to accept the terms and limitations contained in the grant offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough is hereby

authorized to receive and expend funds under the Department of Energy Institu-
I tional Conservation Program grant award in the amount of $83,200 as authorized
I i by Public Law 95 -619 for energy conservation measures in the high school and
'!such matching funds in the amount of $83,200 are to come from General Fund
I undesignated capital projects.
i BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly that the
Borough Manager is hereby authorized to prepare and execute appropriate agreements
for this project.
