A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY
ADOPTING A HOUSE NUMBERING SYSTEM FOR THE BELLS FLATS AND RUSSIAN
CREEK AREA.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission and local
utilities companies have requested that a house numbering system

Bells Flats and Russian Creek Subdivisions;
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Engineering Depart-
ment has completed a house numbering system for the Bells Flats
and Russian Creek area that is compatible with an extension of the
Kodiak Urban Area house numbering system; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends
that the Borough Assembly adopt the house numbering system
proposed by Borough staff; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assembly finds that implementation
of this house numbering system will provide valuable assistance to
local service companies and will expedite the delivery of
emergency services to all residents of the Bells Flats and Russian
Creek area;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island
Borough Assembly that the Assembly hereby adopts the Bells Flats
and Russian Creek Area House Numbering (street addressing) Concept
Plan prepared by the Borough staff as the official house numbering
plan for the Bells Flats and Russian Creek area.
