BOROUGH WHICH ESTABLISHES BOARD OF EQUALIZATION DATES FOR THE
1982 ORIGINAL TAX ASSESSMENT VALUATION REPORT.
WHEREAS, TITLE 3, Chapter 20 of the Kodiak Island Borough
Code of Ordinances and Resolutions provides for the Assessment,
Levy and collection of taxes in the Kodiak Island Borough and
for equalization hearings after notice that the assessment roll
has been completed, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Assessor has notified the Kodiak
Island Borough Assembly that he has completed the 1982 Original
Tax roll and has mailed assessment notices and published notice
that the assessment roll has been completed and that such notice
stated when and where the equalization will be heard, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equali-
zation of the Kodiak Island Borough shall assemble and meet for
the purpose of equalization hearings on Monday, May 10,1982
at 6:30 P.M. in the Borough Assembly Chambers with Tuesday, May
11, 1982 as an alternate date in the event that more than one
(1) day is needed to complete the hearings of the Board of Equal-
ization and that the Assessor has caused notice that the assess-
ment rolls have been completed and such notice published in the
Kodiak Mirror, a newspaper of general circulation published in
the Kodiak Island Borough on April 1st & 8th, 1982 stating
that the assessment rolls have been completed and stating when
and where the equalization hearing will be held.
