RESOLUTION 82 -21 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY AUTHORIZING STAFF
TO EFFECT CERTAIN CONTRACT CHANGES AND BUDGET CHANGES ON THE KARLUK SCHOOL PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly awarded a contract in an
amount not to exceed $190,928.00 for the design of the Karluk School at their
regular meeting on August 6, 1982, and
WHEREAS, the original scope of work specified using the Akhiok School
plans for the Karluk School, and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough School District requested the
Karluk School be reduced in size to accommodate only a K -8 program, and
WHEREAS, the consultant has submitted a proposal for a contract amend-
ment dated January 13, 1982 in an amount not to exceed $10,033.00 for alteration
of the contract plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
that the Borough Manager, Phil C. Shealy, is authorized to execute a contract
amendment not to exceed $10,033.00 and increase the total contract amount to
$200,961.00, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby authorized
and directed to effect the following line item changes:
