A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ADOPTING THE
WOMENS BAY COMMUNITY PLAN DATED FEBRUARY 1982. (Community Development Depart-
ment).
WHEREAS, the Womens Bay Community has expressed a desire and need
f or a comprehensive plan; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly directed staff to pre-
pare a comprehensive plan for the Womens Bay Area; and
WHEREAS, the Womens Bay Community Council recommended approval of
the plan map on October 6, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission
conducted a public hearing on February 17, 1982 and adopted the plan with
changes noted from the community, staff and commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly, in accordance with Alaska Statutes Section 2 9.33.085(b) hereby
adopts the document entitled Womens Bay Community Plan, February 1982, and
incorporates same into the Kodiak Island Borough Comprehensive Plan.
