RESOLUTION NO. 82 -8 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH TO WRITE -OFF DELINQUENT
PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES.
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough has not in prior years actively
pursued the collections of personal property taxes in a timely fashion in all
cases, and
i t WHEREAS, certain amounts are delinquent in excess of six years, and
WHEREAS, the total personal property taxes receivable per audit for
the year of 1975 and prior amount to $20,256.70, and
WHEREAS, these records are somewhat questionable, especially in
regard to correct addresses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly
' , that the Finance Officer is authorized and directed to collect any and all
amounts that he deems economically feasible and to write -off as uncollectable
the balance of personal property taxes of 1975 and prior years.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Kodiak Island Borough Assembly this
