1982-07 Authorizing The Acquisition Of Construction Easements Or Additional Right-Of-Way To Accommodate Construction Of Sawmill Circle/Lakeview Drive.ATTEST: 1 1 1 KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH RESOLUTION NO. 82 -7 -R A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS OR ADDITIONAL RIGHT -OF- WAY TO ACCOMMODATE CONSTRUCTION OF SAWMILL CIRCLE /LAKEVIEW DRIVE. WHEREAS, the original plat of Monashka Bay Alaska Subdivision provided right -of -way for both Sawmill Circle and Lakeview Drive, which had not been constructed, and W HEREAS, the right -of -way provided is insufficient to allow construction of those roadways, and WHEREAS, funds for construction were granted under Chapter 82, SLA 81, page 190, and WHEREAS, the Engineering Department and the Lands Consultant have been unable to negotiate with the following land owners: and, 1. Lot 4, Block Subdivision: 2. Lot 5, Block Subdivision: 3. Lot 6, Block Subdivision: 4. Lot 4, Block Subdivision: WHEREAS, it may be necessary to purchase the needed construction easements and /or additional right -of -way in order to proceed with construction. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough Manager is authorized to obtain appraisals of the lands in question, and to negotiate the purchase of the necessary lands or initiate condemnation proceedings as necessary.
