RESOLUTION NO. 80 -50 -R
A RESOLUTION OF THE KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH ASSEMBLY ADOPTING
THREE (3) OFFICIAL UPDATED ZONING MAPS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Title 29 of the Alaska Statutes,
Section 29.33.080 and Title 17 of the Kodiak Island Borough Municipal Code,
the Planning and Zoning Commission has prepared and approved the adoption
of three (3) Official Updated Zoning Maps designated as MAP #1 - Overall
Kodiak Island Borough Map, MAP #2 - Kodiak Urban Area Zoning Map, and MAP #3 -
Bells Flats /Russian Creek Zoning Map; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission
did hold a public hearing on the adoption of the above referenced maps at
their regular meeting of September 17, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Kodiak Island Borough Planning and Zoning Commission
did update these maps for the purpose of clarifying interpretation in accord-
ance with Section 17.09.040 of the Borough Code due to the nature and number
of changes and additions effected by due processes up to and including
Ordinance No. 80 -31 -0 of June 5, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Kodiak Island Borough
Assembly does hereby adopt the three (3) Official Updated Zoning Maps desig-
nated as MAP #1 - Overall Kodiak Island Borough Map, MAP #2 - Kodiak Urban
Area Zoning Map, and MAP #3 - Bells Flats /Russian Creek Zoning Map, showing
use districts in accordance with said ordinances; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of each officially
designated map shall be in the Office of the Borough Clerk.
